Saar Pikar

Saar Pikar is President of Kensington Capital Partners. He oversees the firm’s venture and growth investment activities across fund investments, direct investments and co-investments, as well as ONE9, Kensington’s defence and security investment platform.

Before joining Kensington, Saar served as Managing Director and Head of Ventures and Growth at OMERS, where he led investments in venture and growth-stage technology companies through direct investments and fund partnerships.

Saar brings more than 25 years of leadership, operating and investment experience. Prior to OMERS, he spent 18 years at CDI Technologies, including 12 years as CEO. During his tenure, he led a management buyout of the company in 2010 and subsequently oversaw the sale of a controlling interest to H.I.G. Growth Partners.

Saar holds an MBA from Ivey Business School at Western University and a BA in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University.
